Day 3 & 4 in DC!!

So Day three we went to The Corner Bakery for Breakfast (It was really yummy!!) Then we rode the Metro (aka subway) to the Arlington Cemetary. It was soooooooooo beautiful and we watched the changing of the guards at the tomb of the unknown soldier. After that we ate lunch at McDonalds and then went to the Smithsonian of American History. After that we went back to the hotel and had like three hours to get ready for dinner. That night we ate at this fancy place and AWESOME food. They had the BEST PEANUTBUTTER PIE EVER!!! It ROCKED!!! So today was our last day!! :-( Day four: We got up and ate at Au Bon Pain (another bakery) then rode the Metro to the Smithsonian of Air and Space. After that we went back to the hotel and ate lunch (it was this restaurant attatched to it) then got our luggage and tried to get to the airport. Let me just tell you that was HARD!! So we left late, we were trying to run with backpacks and luggage in Washington DC, we had to get 21 people on a bus that kept its doors open for 40 sec, then we got to the airport and had to check in and check bags which took FOREVER!!! After that we had to go through security where Mrs. Vanessa got held up, It.......was........CRAZY (and hot) We finally made it and ate at Craker Barrell when we got home. So now I'm home and very happy, except I miss everyone from the trip (even though I'm gonna see them tomorrow) we all were really close!!

Day 2 in DC!!

Hey y'all WHAT'S UUUUUUUUUPPPPPPPP??? Nothing much here, o.k. so I'm gonna reply to my comments on my last post in this one because that's a lot easier, o.k. so..... KC: That is sooooooo awesome I hope you have a rocken time touring OMS!!! :-) Abby: AHHHHHHHH I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU'RE TOURING TRINITY!!! I'M LIKE SOOOOO EXCITED (I MEAN I KNOW WE WOULDN'T BE IN THE SAME GRADE, BUT IF YOU PASS THE TEST THEY CAN PUT YOU IN MY GRADE!!!! SO THAT'S AWESOME!!! OH, and they won't let us in the White House because Alabama doesn't like something that O'Bama is doing or something like that so they wouldn't give us tickets, but oh well because do I have a story for you!!! (I'll cover it closer to the end!!) So let's start the day................................... Well, we went and ate breakfast at this Cafe place (I had a SUPER YUMMY pumpkin muffin!!) Then we went to CVS and then walked to the Lincoln Memorial!!!! My probably FAVE place!! (so far) HE.........WAS..........HUGE!!!!!! And the COOLEST thing about it was that Abraham Lincoln was burried underneath it!! HOW COOL!! We bought this really awesome cookbook!! It has everyone of the Prez's fave cookies!! And then history about it and them!! It's AWESOME!! After that we checked out the Vietnam War Memorial and Korea war memorial. After that we went to the Museum of Holocaust and prayed for Jerusalem. We ate dinner at ESPN, I looooooooooved it!! I had YUMMY Feticiini Alfreado. Then we went to the Capitol and Prayed for our country and just chilled there................................ (this is where the coolio story begins!!) So Pastor Russell was like I'm gonna take people to the bathroom, who needs to go (and like 7 or 8 of us were left) so I'm not gonna go into detail about everything @ this part just how funny it was, ok so it's been over 30 minutes and we were like "Did they get lost or what??" Then someone texted Richard and said they were doing something in the capitol (you can't get in without tickets) Then all of us were like MAN!! I wish we had gone!! So like a few minutes later I was like I REALLY gotta go to the bathroom!! So we were like let's go, so we went under the Capitol and were in the Capitol. It was cool. So we got there went to the Bathroom and then (the coolio part) got to watch a Senator Debate on National Health Care Bill. It was LIVE!!! I mean I didn't get it, but so what sitting watching a LIVE debate. It was really cool!! Also, did I mention I did a cartwheel and a one handed cartwheel IN THE CAPITOL!!! How cool right!!?? Then we went back and told everyone we saw Biden, they actually believed us, but we had to tell them it wasn't true. So yeah after that we split up, like 10 went to the hotel and the rest went back to the Lincoln Memorial. It was GORGEOUS. Then we walked back to the hotel and there was this homeless guy on the street yelling at us to be quiet or something, but it really scared me so I grabbed the nearest person!! It was CRAZY, but fun because we passed a dance club and started dancing, but that's it and Daddy's yelling at me to go to bed............. so Good Night!!

Day 1 in DC!!!

O.k. so here's my first day in DC!!! (I'll put pictures later, because I don't have the cord with me) Also, just to warn you this post may be long. So let's start, well last night Ashley, Me, Mommy, and Daddy went to Atlanta and stayed in this SUPER ghetto motel (it was scary-well at least on the outside-the inside wasn't too bad) So Ashley got up really early because her flight left like two hours (or more) before ours. So then we woke up and went to the airport and met the church. Then after waiting for about 2 hours in security check we were already boarding the plane (so I ran on there, because I have different seats than my parents) I was supposed to sit by Jade, but she switched with Taran to sit by Marcus. So....... I sat next to Taran and then Stacy, Kody, and Mr. Lane were in front of us. Kody was funny on the plane (not ha ha funny though) So like Stacy had the window seat and Kody was next to her (he fell asleep and was on top of Stacy so she was like squished up against the window (at least I thought it was funny) So the flight there was smooth and a lot of fun. Then we got there and went on about 6-7 escalators (with suitcases, might I add) So we rode the Metro (a.k.a subway, but WAAAAAAAAAAAYYY cleaner) And that was smooth, except when we switched trains Ashley, Dillon, Cody, Me, Daddy, and Mr. Lane got left (I mean you only have thirty seconds to put 21 people on, then like 10 super slow people off!!) Anyways, but we got to our hotel, used the bathroom and put up our luggage. After that we went and ate lunch at TJ's (I think that's what it was called) And then after lunch we went to The Smithsonian. We were supposed to stay for like two hours, but we ended up staying about 1 because everyone was so tired. So we all left and went back to the hotel. I took a super long shower (btw- our hotel ROCKS!! It's sooooo nice) then I got dressed and fell asleep, then woke back up and did my hair. We went to The Hard Rock CAFE BABY!! for dinner!! It was really good!! I had Fajitas!! (also btw did I mention I like jacked up my voice?? It's all squeaky and deep, and scratchy, like I'm about to lose it- let's hope not) But anyways I would say more, but that's about it. I had a really good first day in DC!! And tomorrow will be a lot of fun too!! So keep checking if you want to see what's up in DC with me!! (also, I'm still mad because no one from Alabama is allowed in the white house!! :-(

My Saturday!!

Ok so I have like three things to say.....
1) This is my 201st POST!!! Aren't you excited??
2) This is a just a little bit of my weekend. Basically Abby and I Babysat for a baby named Noah, then when he fell asleep Daddy came over and brought us Dinner then left, he brought Ice Cream and we had a little fun with it (as you can see) I even got it in my hair- NO JOKE!! I was aiming for my forhead and forgot I had bangs so...........
3) ?? I can't remember!! Oh, JOY AND KC ARE BACK!!!!!!! :-)!!
